ACCORDING TO S/M DYKES POLLED, vanilla lesbians: are a bunch of prudes who still wish straight people will love them; assume all those who practice S/M were abused as children; shop at J. Crew and Banana Republic; are disgusted by the so-called cruelty of S/M, but could care less about child labor. They are “The Man.” Vanilla lesbians won’t admit they have power dynamics too. Vanilla lesbians practice domestic violence as foreplay just so they can keep pretending to be vanilla. Vanillas are boring, less intelligent, closer to breeders, not really part of queer culture. They think cunnilingus is the be-all end-all of lesbian sex. They are lightweights and wimps. They are afraid to go to the edge. They are bland. They look at me like I’m dirt.
My advice to those who engage in this type of name-calling: Stop it. Play safe, love hard, and quit whispering behind each other’s backs.
